Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Accessing the Application Page
  1. Creating Your Account
  • Begin the application process by creating an account. Enter your personal information such as your name,email, phone number, country of residence, and create a preferred password. We recommend using your first initial last name as your password (i.e. jsmith).
  • Once your account is created, you will be transferred to your application dashboard. Please select the Apply Now button to access the application. The video demonstrates this process using a sample account. [00:02:07]
  1. Providing Academic Information
  • Next, fill in your academic details. Include information about your high school or college education, such as the institution, graduation year, and degree earned. Ensure all information is accurate and complete. [00:09:02]
  1. Handling Transfer Credits
  • If you've attended other institutions, you'll need to indicate this and provide the necessary documentation in a scanned PDF format. The video offers guidance on how to navigate this section. [00:12:01]
  1. Entering Employment Information
  • If you're currently employed, provide details such as your employer's name, address, and phone number. This step is also demonstrated in the video. [00:15:24]
  1. Uploading Required Documents
  • Upload important documents like transcripts, diplomas, and other supporting materials. Itʼs important to upload scanned PDF copies of original documents. Images are accepted for IDs and diplomas. Please follow the tips provided in the video to ensure these documents are properly uploaded and formatted. [00:16:00]
  1. Applying for Scholarships
  • First, you will need to determine whether you are applying for our Need-Based or Merit-Based Scholarship, if you are a self-paying student. If you have an incoming GPA of 2.75 or greater, please apply for our Merit-Based scholarship and upload your proof of GPA through your recent transcripts. If you prefer to write a 500-word essay, please apply for our Need-Based Scholarship. Learn how to determine your eligibility and complete the scholarship application through our video. [00:19:01]
  1. Reviewing and Submitting Your Application
  • Carefully review your application, making sure all required information and documents are provided. Reach out for assistance if needed. [00:24:11]

Additional Information:

  • If your legal name differs from the name on your academic records, submit the necessary legal name change documents to ensure your application is processed correctly. [00:17:42]
  • For need-based scholarships, submit a 500-word essay on your contributions to society and healthcare, the importance of your chosen program, and how the scholarship will benefit you. [00:21:22]
  • Provide a professional reference who can speak to your qualifications and character. [00:22:50]
  • Review the institution's national accreditation status and approval by the Florida Board, especially if you're an out-of-state applicant. [00:24:43]
  • If you have a foreign transcript that needs to be evaluated for US equivalency, please note that within your application and submit the $250 non-refundable foreign evaluation fee. [00:25:57]
